Both of them are slow-moving, slice-of-life kinds of shows. Pasta has some great food. Miss Korea has a vintage feel. Good luck! I hope you enjoy whichever you choose!Vivinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846709423440845137.post-3824447763830795682014-04-19T00:04:42.867-06:002014-04-19T00:04:42.867-06:00Been thinking of watching either Miss Korea or Pas...Been thinking of watching either Miss Korea or Pasta as I know they come from a similar team and seem to have equivalent mixed to positive reviews. In my opinion, the character development in Miss Korea was much more satisfying overall, especially with the female lead. In Pasta, she was still just saying, "Yes, Chef!" until the very end.Vivinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846709423440845137.post-38336659636871680892014-03-02T17:10:46.614-07:002014-03-02T17:10:46.614-07:00That's a good point about the wrist grabbing. ...That's a good point about the wrist grabbing. If there was any, it probably happened towards the beginning of the drama. And yes, "natural" is a great way to describe the acting!Vivinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846709423440845137.post-6365876838671341652014-03-02T03:09:26.177-07:002014-03-02T03:09:26.177-07:00" she was just like, "Okay, sure. Try to..." she was just like, "Okay, sure. Try to leave me, but I'm not breaking up with you, so too bad." I might have done a little fist pump of victory in that moment."

And you might not have been the only one – that was one of my ultimate “YES!” moments from this quite astonishingly excellent series. It did nearly everything right, and the way it subverted expectations like that, defying K Drama laws on what must happen in certain situations, was one of the very best things about it. Almost hard to believe it came from the same team who inflicted Pasta on me, the very first Drama I dropped after nine catatonic hours of nothing but “Yes, Chef!”maxq nzhttp://likhaavat.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846709423440845137.post-62482844081128318652014-03-01T23:03:18.043-07:002014-03-01T23:03:18.043-07:00I wrote a comment but it disappeared in the black ...I wrote a comment but it disappeared in the black hole. I love this drama and unlike you, I could watch 10 more hours of it. I also enjoy most the main leads' relationship. The actors are so natural with each other, each almost becoming the character portrayed. I am racking my brain trying to remember if there is any wrist grabbing in the entire series and can't come up with any. It seems that whenever Hyung Joon needs to lead Ji Young somewhere, he either takes her hand or her arm, never her wrist. I agree with you that they are on equal term in this relationship.Malorynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846709423440845137.post-52992994634948672592014-03-01T18:11:59.039-07:002014-03-01T18:11:59.039-07:00I really liked it.
