    1. Yikes, too cheezy. That love is the moment....song drives me up the wall and LMH - duh, too old for the role!

  2. For me, I couldn't get through the first episode. The thing I like about kdramas is they aren't filmed in the U.S. and they don't speak English. Praying for City Hunter 2! (I am American and live in America)

    1. Seriously you don't watch things that aren't filmed in America or spoken in English? Not only K-dramas but you are missing some overall amazing cinema and television and I feel bad for you. Hopefully one day you'll branch out! (I am also American and live in America so??????? watch with subtitles - netflix and hulu both have great ones)

    2. I agree Meghen Matta. I have no problem watching American dramas filmed in America or K-dramas filmed in American. Nor do I care what language is spoken as long as I can follow. The thing that I love about K-drama is the minimum exposure to violence and sex and the filial relationships. I also watch Iranian, Spanish, Israeli, Nigerian, Taiwanese, Chinese and anything that's entertaining without violence and overly sexual scenes. It's all about good entertainment. (I am also American and I live in America).

    3. K-dramas and Korean Feature Films are more entertaining than American. Whether spoken in English/Korean or English subtitle the overall completed television series or cinema is better. I am Asian American that lives in America, does that really make a difference? And I prefer Korean over American because of the American films have the same setting/tone or keep getting remade. How many times can one movie be remade? What is the point of watching a movie or series that holds no substance. I also agree with Char about the minimum exposure to sex and filial relationships.

    4. I don't like American Dramas or TV shows because for the most part it's about sex love and drugs. It gets annoying really fast and k-dramas they build up relationships and show the hardships people face. They completely engage you on what ou are watching and make you feel a rollercoaster of emotions. I don't hate American shows but theres a clear annoying pattern i've noticed.

    5. I don't think they meant it like that. It's just really awkward when it's set in America and no one has an American accent, let alone Californian, like in The Heirs.

  3. BTW, I don't think Anonymous was criticizing American programming. I got what he/she was saying. Sometimes posting is like texting and is not always received the way it was meant.

  5. Personal taste in another great one, especially if you like Lee Min-ho. It held humor, moral integrity, friendship, and romance.

  10. I don't have Netflix so I can't say for sure what would be available there, but you may like "Marriage, Not Dating" and "Emergency Couple." Both are on Viki and Emergency Couple is on Dramafever as well. Also possible: "Queen In Hyun's Man," "Mask," "Oh, My Ghostess," "Hotel King," "One More Happy Ending." Check out the descriptions, since some have supernatural elements, historical parts, dark/revenge themes, etc.
